NOTE: We will start accepting nominations for Christmas assistance on November 1st. Please check back then to complete your nomination on our online form.

There are 2 ways to participate in our holiday giving program:

1. You can be matched with a personalized wish list for a family and you do the shopping - OR - 2. You can donate money and have HopeMatch volunteers shop.
Shop for a Family:
Click on the "Shop" button below to be directed
to the information on shopping for a family this Christmas. You will be provided with a wish list
in November and will shop for the family from
that list. You will drop off the unwrapped gifts
at our seasonal location the week of December 8th. Complete the commitment form at the
bottom of the page so that you can be matched. We are already accepting commitments!
Donate:
Click on the "Donate" button below and you
will go to the information page where you
can select what size family you would like
to help. You will "purchase" a package and
we will do the rest! You can be assured that
your gift will not go into a pot of money, but be matched with a specific family to help.

HopeMatch is a local charity serving those who are unseen and underserved in the Greater Charlotte, North Carolina, area. We started as a Christmas program, but have grown into much more.  While our Christmas program of matching local families in need with people who want to provide personalized Christmas gifts and encouragement to their neighbor is still the heart of what we do, we have expanded our services to address the growing needs of the families we serve.  Throughout the year, you will find multiple ways to give financially and volunteer, all while making a lasting difference in your community.

Everything we do at HopeMatch is personalized and geared toward what the families need and what will make a lasting difference in their lives.  We believe in not just giving a hand out, but a “Hand Up.”  We consider it an honor to bless people in our community who often do not qualify for government assistance, but are trying the best they can to make life work.  Here is how our program works:
