Our organization is all about serving those who are overlooked within our community. Many families work hard to make ends meet, yet do not qualify for government financial aid. These are the people HopeMatch is dedicated to serving through various programs that intentionally meet physical and personal needs. Our mission is to provide HOPE by matching local needs with compassionate givers. We aim to bring lasting hope and encouragement to the unseen and underserved in our community. Every Dollar Makes a Difference
Your donation ensures HopeMatch is able to continue spreading hope within our community. We appreciate every donation that comes through our doors as these are fundamental in serving families in need throughout the year. We offer multiple ways to give from one-time donations that allow us to continue our work, to monthly donations that can contribute to helping multiple families for a full year.
Where the Magic of Christmas Meets the Spirit of Service
HopeMatch originally began as a Christmas-oriented organization in which donors provide families with items off of their unique Christmas wish lists who are unable to afford them. Through this program, families in need are given hope and encouragement as they receive a helping hand during the holidays. The HopeMatch Process
Here’s how we match deserving families with generous givers
Members of the community nominate someone they know who needs help with Christmas through our website in October and
Families are chosen after the nomination forms are carefully screened by trained volunteers.
We like to surprise families with the good news that they’ve been chosen for our program by calling them.
Donors are matched with a family and can either do the shopping themselves or donate funds for a volunteer to shop.
Each gift is wrapped and labeled by the volunteers and delivered before Christmas.
Families are contacted at the first of the year to determine their needs of the coming year. We then look for ways to connect the families with resources in the community that can help them.
HopeMatch hosts pop up events throughout the year to give a “hand up” to those families we’ve served the previous Christmas season.
Families who were helped the previous years are invited to our Give Back event in December to pass their blessing forward to new families we are helping in the new holiday season.
