About Nominations

Who should you nominate?

HOPEmatch serves Charlotte-area families who are working hard but still facing temporary hardship — often above the income cutoff for most public assistance, yet still in genuine need of support. If you know someone like that, we want to hear from you.

Nominations are welcome for any of our programs: Christmas Adopt-a-Family, Back to School Bash, Acts of HOPE, Pop Up Shop, Project Celebrate!, and Identity Groups. Not sure which one fits? Choose “General / Not sure” and we’ll match the family to the right program.

  • Nominations are free and confidential.
  • You can nominate yourself or your own family.
  • Caseworkers, teachers, pastors, and neighbors are all welcome to nominate.
  • Our team reviews every submission and reaches out if we need more information.
